So I might be a little late in the game, but TCM is currently showing West Side Story, which I'm seeing for the first time.
And I decided I want to live there. Not the west side, per se, but the movie. Specifically one of the Puerto Rican women. They're surrounded by beautiful saturated colors and the 'slum' apartment building is pretty fantastic plus all the spunk and 'tude. I figure that will make up for the constant breaking out into song.
Also, most of the fighting is dance fighting, so that's pretty safe.
I see people singing on the baltimore light rail all the time. That and crapping their pants, stealing peoples ipods, and tripping on powerful hallucinogens. It's pretty close to west side story.
